Storyboard

I have sketched up a rough storyboard for my ideas of the 30 second animation scene. The basic outline is my main character being hit with a tennis ball, being confused and then realising what has happened. He then becomes enraged and kicks the ball back from where it came, he hears a child scream and finds this very humerus until he hears a smash and realises what is heading his way. In the form of the same ball but 100 times bigger, it hits him flying off screen and leaving only his pride and slipper behind.

I have been rather cruel to my character but because he gives off a grumpy fat man impression the audience will find it funny to see him in pain after laughing at the misfortune of a child and then receiving payback.

Emotions
I have tried to incorporate a range of emotions and feeling into such a short space time, by choosing the ideas shown in my story board I am able to show: Content, Confusion, Anger, Happiness/Laughing, Shocked (Scared) and Pain.

I have given a brief description on each panel and sketched the body type and some facial expressions, it allowed me to think in greater detail about the characters mood and how it would in turn effect his body and face.
